Charlotte & Jordan’s Backyard Wedding: A Beautiful August Celebration Under the Tent

Charlotte and Jordan’s August backyard wedding was the kind of day that feels effortless—personal, joyful, and grounded in who they are as a couple. Their home became the setting for a celebration filled with music, good food, and the people who love them most. What made the day special wasn’t just the tent or the décor, but the way everything came together to create a space that felt like an extension of their lives.

Event Details

For the reception, we installed a 40×60 canopy tent with bistro lighting and French window sidewalls. Inside, guests were seated on white Chiavari chairs around a mix of farm banquet tables with white Panama runners and 5′ round tables dressed in white polyester linens. Coral napkins added a bright summer accent. A sweetheart table sat near the 20×20 birch dancefloor, and farm cocktail tables created relaxed gathering areas during cocktail hour.

The beautiful photos were captured by Jill Mac Photography. Dinner and drinks were provided by Comeketo, with a fun food truck appearance from Melt. Ceremony and cocktail hour music came from Tara Novak, and Levitate Weddings kept the dancefloor full throughout the night. Florals were designed by Flowers by Darlene, adding soft garden touches that tied the colors together.

The celebration felt comfortable and joyful, with family and friends moving easily through the yard and into the tent as the evening unfolded.
